All F-1 and J-1 newly admitted international students are required to attend International New Student Orientation.

 

Undergraduate & Graduate Students

All newly admitted international undergraduate & graduate students must attend GW's Fall 2018 International Student Orientation session on Tuesday, August 21, 2018Please use the following link to sign up:

Fall 2018 Orientation Details

  • Date: Tuesday, August 21, 2018
  • Time: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
  • Location: Orientation will begin in GW's Lisner Auditorium and will continue at the Marvin Center. 
  • Please arrively promprly by 9:00AM to confirm your attendance!

School Specific Information

  • For school specific information, please consult with your academic program.
  • International Law Students - You attended/will attend an immigration session as part of your academic program’s orientation. Please contact your academic department for more details regarding your orientation. You do NOT need to register separately for ISO orientation. 
  • Reporting date:  “Reporting Date” for new graduate international students in programs on the standard GW academic calendar is is Monday, August 27,  2018. (Classes begin on Monday, August 27, 2018). This is the date by which you are required to report to ISO that you have arrived at GW. Watch your GW e-mail in the coming months for more information regarding the check-in process.

Important Notes:

  • All newly admitted international students should check with their academic programs regarding school-specific orientations that will be held in addition to the international student orientation.
  • All newly admitted international students are welcome to attend any of the international student orientation sessions or events that do not conflict with their program and school-specific orientation schedule.
