Updated I-20/DS-2019 Request

There are certain circumstances under which an F-1 or J-1 student would need to request a new I-20 or DS-2019. These include:

• Adding a new major or switching to a new major
• If there is a change in your sponsorship information
• If you need an I-20 reflecting your OPT as approved before you have submitted your OPT Employer Report/STEM OPT Change of Employer Report
• If you’re on approved Reduced Course Load and need an I-20 reflecting the approved authorizations
• If you lose your I-20 and no longer have access to the digital copy

If you need to request an updated I-20/DS-2019, please go to ISOGateway, click on F-1 Student Services or J-1 Student Services, and select “Updated I-20/DS-2019 Request.” The ISO will send you an email with your updated document within 10 business days.
