The International Services Office and the Office of the Registrar have partnered together on a new process for Full Time Certification (FTC) for international students. Our new approach will offer streamlined processing, and make the international student experience more efficient while still maintaining institutional and student compliance responsibilities.
Starting in Fall 2024, graduate students will submit all FTC requests to the Office of the Registrar for processing. Once an international student receives approval from the Office of the Registrar, the ISO will use the confirmation email as approval of full-time enrollment for the student’s maintenance of status with the Department of Homeland Security.
