Namana is a second-year graduate student from Bangalore, India, pursuing a master's degree in Cybersecurity. Her background in Computer Science has equipped her with a strong foundation in technology. Beyond her academic pursuits, Namana is well-acquainted with the cultural, academic, and professional challenges that incoming international students often face.
Namana’s own experiences have made her particularly sensitive to the hurdles faced by international students, driving her dedication to help them ease into life in the United States. Her passion for exploring new cultures fuels her commitment to fostering inclusivity within the GWU community. As an ISCA, Namana aims to create a welcoming environment and strives to make a positive impact, ensuring her peers succeed academically and feel integrated into the community.
Namana is a multi-talented individual with diverse interests. She enjoys playing the guitar to unwind from the demands of her studies and travels to explore new places and cultures. Cooking, yet another of her interests, is a way for her to share a piece of her heritage. She loves cooking diverse dishes for her family and friends - from the Indian Pav Bhaji to Italian pasta.
